With over 56 years of real estate experience, The Small Real Estate Team knows we didn’t climb to the top by putting our sign in a few yards and opening doors. We did it by focusing on achieving our client’s goals and providing unparalleled service.

We first achieved this award in 2014 by selling over $25 Million in volume. Each year since, we’ve exceeded the last and grown to nearly double in sales volume.

Having started his real estate career in 2002, Charles is basically the Father of Real Estate. He told me not to write that, although he may have admitted to “caring too much”. Charles is the one you trust to lead you in the right direction when you are making the biggest investment of your life. His level head, wisdom, knowledge of the industry, and impressive portfolio has made him one of the most successful agents in the Northland (Of course, he’s too humble to tell you that). When in a bind, the ladies of the team frequently ask ourselves “WWCD?” – What Would Charles Do?

SeAnne Gregory
Real Estate Agent
SeAnne has been a real estate professional since 2005, and it’s noticeable in her knowledge, confidence and loyalty to those she serves. Although her 5’0 figure is a weapon of intimidation, her clients describe her as relatable – someone that immediately makes them feel like a friend. Her ability to listen and understand client’s needs has contributed to her impressive percentage of referrals from past clients and overall success. Fair warning though, you will probably end up her friend for life.

Katie Raines
Real Estate Agent
Katie joined the Small Team in 2017 and hit the ground running! She is referred to as “the team’s Millennial” and claims she “put us on the map”. Literally…she added us to Google Maps. Katie and her husband are live-in renovators, handy with power tools and on their second rehab in the Northland. These experiences boosted her knowledge ten-fold, giving her the ability to spot a shoddy DIY job from a mile away. Katie’s clients appreciate her competence in home improvement, vision for design, and willingness to work harder, longer and faster to get you a home you love.

Kenna Strider
Real Estate Agent – Closing Transaction Coordinator
Kenna has been in real estate since 2006, which means she started in the industry at the age of 10. Maybe slightly untrue, she might like to mention she’s the (much) younger sister to Charles and was happy to join him in 2009.
Kenna is the one you want to answer the phone when you call. She is a library of knowledge and our heads would fall off without her. Her ability to keep things in order while being so highly likable and personable makes her a massive asset to the team.

Kelsey Mellema
Real Estate Agent – Listing Transaction Coordinator
Kelsey is the newest member of the Small Real Estate Team, but not to the Small Family, as she is Charles’s favorite daughter and Kenna’s favorite niece (not an opinion, it’s obviously fact). Kelsey has always loved helping people learn and do new things, which she first used in her teaching career and has now translated to the real estate profession. Kelsey’s favorite part of the job is soaking up all of the knowledge and wisdom of the other team members while meeting new, great people along the way!
